An Invitation

An Invitation

M’ladies and m’lords, here I am again. I have had the luckiest opportunity to visit a distant, faraway land called Lumis, by the one and only Elyan White.

It is, yes I confess, my first inter-stellar travel, and I am indeed in a silvery light. I am waiting here, at Raisen Port. I thank you deeply, m’lady, for having me.

The Adventurer’s Guide To Cygnet: Part 2

So here our journeys continue in the hills and vales of Cygnet. I am coming a long way back, and then, there’s the charming guide of Lumis as well by Elyan White. Really, nothing can beat such a collaboration! πŸ™‚

We both agreed on a set of questions to create a visitor’s guide for passing tourists, so you’re welcome to embark on our adventures with us, if you think you can make the journey.

Elyan White

Here we go again!

6. Your favourite local legend there?

Oooh, legends! Our Quya Zkyeatto mythology is filled lots of myths and legends about perhaps each and every topic. There’s the Artist, the Dragon Boy, the Beetle Bard, the Rebel and so on!

I don’t know the legends of other cultures yet, but my favourite among ours is The Warrior’s Tale. It’s a tale about Homura, a Whatou prince, born physically weak about an ocean of courage and determination. He proves to us, that to become a warrior, you don’t have to kill, but to protect. He dies at the mere age of 12 but has a deep impact on every Quya’s mind.

7. Any unique creature there?

Hundreds and thousands! Each community has an array of mythical creatures… Well, I am not very much aware of others, but for us Zkyeatto, there’s a Kayoui (a weird cross between Werewolves and Vampires, I guess), the Ijins (small underwater creatures) and obviously the Dimyou (creatures who live in Lands of Death, unfortunately one of my closest friend is one such guy, Haruoeh? Did I just say close? No, he is not, not, not! *blushes*) “-”

8. A great mystery of your world?

Cygnet is shrouded in mystery. The most trending one among the Zkyeatto is the existence of those portals. Portals, yes, those odd creepy portals that can lead you to anywhere and everywhere in the universe. You may land in Eternal Frost Land (like Gou did) or Fluorine Kingdom, or where your wildest fancies take you. Remember, in Cygnet, anything can happen….

But personally, I am in doubt, how in the whole wide world Haruo has come from Dimyou Land to our neighbourhood and why is he always teasing me like that and peeping in my dreams and thoughts.

9. The most dangerous place there?

The portals, of course. No one knows where they can lead to, and if there’s a road leading back.

But to me, the most dangerous place is anywhere Haruo is. Awkward, isn’t he?!

10. Are there many different religions there?

Many! But the major religions are the communities I told earlier about.

A big thank you to everyone reading this and joining us!

Have a happy Sunday! ❀

The Adventurer’s Guide: Cygnet

This is the most amazing and exciting event in my entire journey through the Den of Dreams: A collaboration with the one and only Elyan White, the awesome author from Phantasmagorium and Lumis. Here is her tale from Lumis, a very interesting place, residing among the stars. And to believe that Tatsuya can tour there!

We both agreed on a set of questions to create a visitor’s guide for passing tourists, so you’re welcome to embark on our adventures with us, if you think you can make the journey.

1. The meaning of your world. Why do you think it was given?

Cygnet. The Child of Swan.

Well, there are hundreds and thousands of name by which people call our planet but perhaps every name translates more or less into “Swan Child”. Here is a common legend about the origin that one day, on 36 Summer, Year of Turquoise Dragon (in Earth calender, 26 June 2019) I heard.

2. How did your world start?

Legends vary place to place, and from people to people. Here are a few theories I collected from my school friends of Cygnet:

Haruo: With fire of course, man.

Rin: Hmm, certainly not something I’d know! Why don’t ye go an’ check the origin stories, eh?

Edaeda: Oceans, rivers, seas and water.

3. What are the major communities?

There are three major communities in Cygnet, each with its own history, myth, culture, food, drinks and languages. There are other tribes of course, and so are other sub groups.

  • Ykeadjnn: (pronounced ki-a-jin) They are the natives of the planet and cover about 70 percent of the population. Golden haired, big eyed, they live by the coasts, worship water, moon, and lord Yakae.
  • Euclonic (pronounced Eu-klo-nik) They are present around 19 per cent of the population. Highly technical, adaptive, diplomatic, they live in very cold areas where snow never melts. They can speak an Earth language: English.
  • Zkyeatto (pronounced za-ki-e-to) They are present around 7 percent of the population, and are often conflicting with Ykeadjnn. Dark eyed, shrouded in mysteries and legends, they live by the hills, worship nature, sun, and the fire. Two sub-groups include the creative, emotional Quya (pronounced Ku-ya) and the fiery and galiant Ywaya (pronounced ya-ya). {I am a Quya Zkyeatto, by the way πŸ˜‰ }

4. One line to describe your world?

Anything and everything is possible.

5. Your favourite place to tour in your world?

Many, many, many! I love touring in the medieval ages of Mhokaizi (pronounced Ho-kai-zi) empires, Whatou (pronounced Wa-ha-to) and Tuorin empires, and playing around our school in Linnet Town. Warrior’s Land, where Quya Zkyeatto people go after death is an interesting place too… πŸ˜‰

Well, our journey is not over yet, there continues our path to Cygnet…

A big thank you to everyone reading and joining us! ❀

Welcome To the Ijin World: Guest Post by Tatsuya

Hello, mates, Prince Tatsuya Tuorin here! My first own journey in the Den Of Dreams actually πŸ™‚ I started this mostly for Crimson Prose, an silvery blogger, to whom I pledge my gratitude. Crimson, I was wondering what you may like until I realised that you like history and culture.

Now, dear mates, you are going to enter deep, deep below the seas, into coral kingdoms, to experience the legendary and magical creatures called Ijins… Hold your breath, there we go…

My first ever water colour painting, dated 25th August 2018.
Copyrights: Dragon Warrior

Ijins are really small creatures, barely 10 cm of height, and represent the 7 colours of the rainbow— Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red— and the 7 Special colours— Silver, Brown, Black, Grey, Gold, Turquoise, Pink. Each of the Special colours has a special purpose and own task to do. They travel on jellyfishes and sea horses and use the tiny little sea-shells (well, for them, sea shells aren’t tiny at all) as money. Do you see the coral all around? They are the houses and every building of the Ijin folks.

After every 7 months, there a festival, the main festival held for Ijins. It’s called the Feast and goes on for 7 days in the elegant royal place. Surely it’s fun! Even prisoners are released for enjoying these days. (I have been there once, and it was great fun! Next one is in October this year, you may join in too πŸ™‚ )

Well, mates, today, for this post I’m in charge of comments. Feel free to ask any question! I would be more than happy, for, it is perhaps a once-a-lifetime occasion. πŸ™‚

Have a silvery day ahead!

~Tatsuya Tuorin.

Welcome to our Periodic Table: A guest post by Shota

Hey there everyone!!

Having a good day, eh? It’s me Shota, aka Fluorine, here! Dear mates, lemme introduce you to my super, duper, extra-talented group of Periodic table!!

Dear mate, I know I’ve posted this pic before too ! But it’s my bestie pic you see ^ ^ My darling Aki (aka Arsenic) drew it up for me πŸ™‚

About Us:

Ahem… *coughs his throat as if giving a lecture* So lemme tell ya something about us. At first, we are AMAZING! Yea, I’m bragging here πŸ˜€

We follow quite simple rules:

  1. Guys are non-metals
  2. Girls are metals
  3. And tomboys or girlish boys are metalloids (But no teasing them, eh… They have got hearts too )

Now, kick the rules under the table and lemme greet you to my dear mates! Sorry, mates, but I haven’t got their pics!

Hydrogen: a pure yandere guy. But looks extremely cutie and always wears a cap. Loves Oxygen (yaoi :D) Looks like a little sleek and shorty guy. Loves anime.

Helium: Auntie of our group -_- Wears old granny clothes all the time and old fashioned buns. Has a crush on Krypton πŸ˜€ Is a motherly figure to Xenon. Very “noble”. Age= 16

Lithium: Awfully dramatic and crybaby. Always two ponytails and a teary face. Loves flowers. Has a crush on me {but I don’t like her a bit -_-} Can be very reactive.

Beryllium: Very strong. Goes to gym. Good friends with Copper and Calcium. Has a tiny little crush on Nitrogen πŸ˜€ Doesn’t look very good. Wants to be a pilot.

Boron: Carbon’s cousin. Tomboy (Boron has kind of metallic properties, that’s why) Loves Carbon {that’s a secret, mate πŸ˜‰ } We tease her as Maquia because she tries to hide her soft side

Carbon: A really good and bad guy! I like him a lot, a lot and a lot!! πŸ™‚ Has a number of designer shirts telling silly quotes like “I am everywhere” -_- Very good in disguises, and we have a close bonding

Nitrogen: Another double faced guy! Likes plants, especially peas and pulses. Has long shoulder length hair and is kind of inert. Doesn’t like much quarrel.

Oxygen: My BIGGEST RIVAL! :0 Our vice leader. Very cheerful and reactive. Always chats with others… People like him a lot too (that’s a bad thing!!) Has a designer shirt telling “Everyone needs me” {I don’t need you a bit, Oxygen!}

And Fluorine: That’s me! The best one in the group!! I am leader, very reactive and strong and handsome ^ ^ I don’t know people think me as evil, but I am super cool! I react with each and everyone! I’ve got a designer shirt too, telling, “Whatever I touch is on Fire”

Neon: Oops, almost forgot this tiny little guy! Is quite shy towards strangers but in front of us, is a great and funny guy! Always wears LED sunglasses and those fluorescent rings, yea, even at night. Gives awesome nicknames!

All of us are 16 year old, by the way. So mates, I’ll tell ye about the rest next time, eh? Goodbye, till then, my dear mates!! πŸ˜€ Any favourite element, eh?

Notes from Dragon Warrior:

Oh well, I guess, Mr Fluorine, my dear imaginary friend, had quite a long chat today πŸ™‚ I hope you are not bothered by his awful bragging and boasting and rough language. Thank you for reading, and have a great weekend ahead! πŸ™‚ Thank you, Christine, for being my inspiration!

A few doodles and drawings

I hope everyone is having a good day yet ^ ^ I just wanted to share a few drawings that I’ve been recently quite obsessed with πŸ™‚

She’s Kasumi! Always cheerful and smiling.
Sorry, it’s hazy and not quite clear… Copyright: Dragon Warrior
She is Wahatou Yoai. The most inspiring woman in Cygnet ever. The painting and the poem actually belongs to Mahokiji Yoshitsune, her husband. But he can’t come in Earth like I can so I would keep the copyrights to myself. Currently she’s 15, and going through dark days so I hope she gets well soon
Her name is Ellie. Actually a rabbit but can transform into human when she wishes πŸ™‚

Have a great week and month ahead! Goodbye πŸ™‚

A Few Snaps of Nature

Now, I don’t think I had told anyone about my liking towards photography so here I am, on this special day, to spill on this little secret… ^ ^
